بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْمُغِيرَةُ أَمِيرُ الْكُوفَةِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَيَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

۔ سعید بن عبید نے کہا : ہمیں علی بن ربیعہ والبی نے حدیث بیان ، کہا : میں مسجد میں آیا اور ( اس وقت ) حضرت مغیرہ ( بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) کوفہ کے امیر ( گورنر ) تھے : مغیرہ نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہﷺ سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : ’’مجھ پر جھوٹ بولنا اس طرح نہیں جیسے ( میرے علاوہ ) کسی ایک ( عام آدمی ) پر جھوٹ بولنا ہے ، جس نے جان بوجھ کر مجھ پرجھوٹ بولا وہ جہنم میں اپنا ٹھکانہ بنا لے ۔ ‘ ‘

Saeed Bin Ubaid ne kaha: Hume Ali Bin Rabiya walbi ne hadees bayan ki, kaha mai masjid me aya aur (us waqt) Hazarat Mugira (BIn Sheba رضی اللہ عنہ) Kufa ke ameer (Governor) the, Mugira ne kaha : Maine Rasoll Allahﷺ suna, Aap ﷺ farmarahe the : Mujh par jhoot bolna us tarah nahi jaise (mere alwa) kisi ek (aam admi) par jhoot bolna hai, jis ne jaan boojh kar mujh par jhoot bola wo jahnnam me apna thikana banale.

Muhammad bin Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Sa’īd bin Ubayd narrated to us, Alī bin Rabī’ah narrated to us, he said:
‘I arrived at the Masjid and al-Mughīrah, the Amīr of al-Kūfah said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, saying, ‘Indeed a lie upon me is not like a lie upon anyone else, for whoever lies upon me intentionally, then he shall take his seat in the Fire’.’
