بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْبَصْرَةَ فَكَانَ يُحَدِّثُ،عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، فَكَتَبَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ، فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو مُوسَى إِنِّي كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبُولَ، فَأَتَى دَمِثًا فِي أَصْلِ جِدَارٍ فَبَالَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَبُولَ فَلْيَرْتَدْ لِبَوْلِهِ مَوْضِعًا .

ابوالتیاح کہتے ہیں کہ
مجھے ایک شیخ نے بتایا کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہا جب بصرہ میں ( بحثیت گورنر ) تشریف لائے تو لوگ انہیں سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنی ہوئی احادیث بیان کرتے تھے ۔ ( تو اس ضمن میں ) سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہا نے سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کے نام ایک خط لکھا : جس میں ان سے کچھ مسائل دریافت کیے چنانچہ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں جواب میں لکھا : میں ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی معیت میں تھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پیشاب کرنے کا ارادہ کیا ، پس آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک دیوار کی جڑ میں نرم مٹی کے پاس آئے اور پیشاب کیا ۔ اس کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” تم میں سے جب کوئی پیشاب کرنا چاہے تو اس کے لیے ( مناسب نرم ) جگہ تلاش کر لیا کرے ۔ “

Abul Tahya Kahete hai, mujhe ek shaksh ne bataya ki Sayedna Abdullah Bin Abbasرضی اللہ عنہا jab Basra me (Ba haisiyat Governor) tashreef lay to log inhe Sayedna Abu Moosa Ashari رضی اللہ عنہا se suni hui ahadess bayan karte the, (to us zaman me) Sayedna Abdullah Bin Abbasرضی اللہ عنہا ne Sayedna Abu Moosa رضی اللہ عنہا ke naam ek khat likha: jis me un se kush masail daryaft kiye, chunancha Sayedna Abu Moosa رضی اللہ عنہا ne unhe jawab me likha, ki mai ek din Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ke sath tha to Aap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne peshab karne ka irada kiya, pas Aap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ek deewar ki jad me naram mitti ke paas aaye aur peshab kiya, us ke baad Aap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne farmaya tum jab koi peshab karna chahe tu us ke liye (munasib naram) jagah talash kar liya karen

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
